The Cherry Blossom Festival is excited to bring a balloon glow and tethered hot air balloon rides to the Party on the Green event, which serves as the finale for the Spring Festival. Party on the Green will take place at Wesleyan College on April 2, 2017. As a result, Tunes & Balloons, a Festival event that was moved to the Fall in 2015, will not take place this upcoming year.

Instead, the Festival is thrilled to partner with Middle Georgia State University on a new event that will coincide with the University’s homecoming.

“I’m very pleased to be able to combine favorite elements of Tunes & Balloons and Party on the Green into one family-friendly, fantastic finale that our whole community is excited about. Bringing the balloon glow back to the Spring Festival has been consistently mentioned in feedback and surveys we’ve conducted,” said President Jake Ferro. “This will be a great thing for the 2017 Festival.”
