The second annual Just Tap'd Taste of the South Craft Beer and Food Festival is coming up on April 30th, from 12:00PM to 6:00PM in Rosa Parks Square! Sample a variety of craft beers while enjoying live musical performances, food and fun for the whole family right in the center of beautiful, historic downtown Macon.

The fun kicks off with live music by Chip Holton from 12:00PM to 1:30PM. Next, a blues band called the False Prophets will get you on your feet from 1:45PM to 3:45PM. The Dirty Blondes will conclude the festival with covers of today’s pop and rock hits from 4:00PM to 6:00PM.

Lastly, all festival attendees and craft beer lovers are invited to the Just Tap’d Taste of the South After Party from 6:00PM to 10:00PM with live music by Chip Holton on the patio outside of Just Tap’d. His throwback to the 80’s and 90’s will have you singing along in no time.

With over 130 taps of craft beer, breweries from all around the country will be representing their beers, including some exclusive to this event, answering questions about the brewing process and addressing the finer points of drinking great beer.

In addition to a wide selection of craft beers, food vendors will also be available, including Just Tap’d pulled pork sliders, Cajun boiled peanuts, and chef Kevin McCauley’s Nashville-style hot chicken. After quenching your thirst and filling your stomach, enjoy our complementary yard games such as giant cornhole, Kan Jam, giant Jenga and more!

Admission is free for all ages. Tickets for beer tastings will be available for purchase by guests 21+ years of age only.

A portion of all proceeds will benefit our wounded soldiers and their families through the Folds of Honor Foundation.

Beer Lover tickets are $35 and include a tasting mug and unlimited 4oz pours of any beers being featured in the park. Beer Connoisseur tickets at $55 and include a tasting mug, unlimited 4oz pours of any beers being featured in the park, a festival t-shirt, access to a VIP lounge with comfortable seating and limited rare beers, access to a private restroom, and access to the festival one hour early.
