Hazle Hamilton Elected President of the Community Foundations National Standards Board

Hazle Hamilton, CPA and Executive Vice President for the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, has been elected President of the Community Foundations National Standards Board, a supporting organization of the Council on Foundations, which is based in Arlington, VA.

Participation in National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations represents a community foundation’s commitment to go above and beyond federal and state law requirements to demonstrate accountability and excellence to communities, policymakers, and the public. 

Community Foundation of Central Georgia was among the first community foundations in the nation to be confirmed in compliance with National Standards in 2006, and was reaccredited in January 2013.
