Goodwill Middle Georgia to Hold Boot Camp Sessions Prior to Job Fair April 7th

The Job Connection of Goodwill industries of Middle Georgia will hold its spring job fair from 1-4 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at the Anderson Conference Center, 5171 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon. The job fair is free to job-seekers and potential employers with current job openings.

This job fair will bring together employers and applicants while highlighting the programs available through the Job Connection. More than 30 employers and community resources will be on site to provide information about current job openings in Middle Georgia.

To help job-seekers make the best first impression at the job fair, Goodwill’s Job Connection will hold three job fair boot camp sessions:  at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at the Helms Career Center, 240 Broadway, in Macon; and at 10 a.m. Friday, March 24, at the Warner Robins Job Connection, 2209 Moody Road. The classes will be taught by human resources professionals from businesses represented at the job fair, and participants will receive early entry to the job fair.

Employers and community resource partners participating in the job fair include Advance Auto, Blue Bird Body Co., C.A.O.T.T.I., Capitol City Bank, GEICO, Home Depot, Houston Healthcare, Kumho Tires, Macon State Prison, Macon-Bibb Fire Department, Macon-Bill Sheriff’s Office, Marriott Macon City Center, Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation, Tractor Supply, Waffle House, Helms College and Goodwill Industries.
