Dogwood Festival Comes to Perry April 9th & 10th

Coming Saturday April 9th and Sunday April 10th in beautiful, historic Perry, Georgia, the 28th Annual Dogwood Festival offers a two day arts and crafts show, an official Ultimate Air Dog competition, and a hot air balloon rally! The downtown arts and crafts show and Ultimate Air Dog competition are both free for everyone, and offer fabulous entertainment on the streets of downtown Perry on both days. The hot air balloon rally will take place on April 9th at the Georgia National Fairgrounds campus. Open to the public at 5 pm, bring the whole family for an evening of magnificent hot air balloon tethered rides, a kids zone, food vendors, and live music on the entertainment stage! Don't forget your blankets and lawn chairs so you can spread out and observe the magnificent glow of the hot air balloons at dusk.
Admission is $5.00 and children under 6 are free! Transportation will not be an issue as there will be a free downtown tram that can take visitors to the fairgrounds from the downtown activities! Visit perrydogwoodfestival.com for more information.
