Cherry Blossom Festival Announces Authors for 2016 Authors Luncheon

Renowned authors Dr. Allan Armitage, Cynthia Graubart, and Kristy Harvey will attend this year’s Authors Luncheon, presented by Burgess Pigment Company, on March 29 at 11:30 a.m. The event takes place at Idle Hour Country Club.

Tickets for the luncheon can be purchased at the Cherry Blossom Festival Headquarters (794 Cherry Street) for $40.

Dr. Allan Armitage

Armitage is well known as a writer, speaker, and researcher. He has worked with landscape plants and greenhouse crops in the northern and southern United States, and he travels from coast to coast sharing his passion for plants. Cynthia Graubart

Graubart is the author of seven books, including Mastering the Art of Southern Cooking, which won the James Beard Award. She writes a regular column called “New Sunday Supper” in Southern Living magazine and shares her message of gaining confidence in the kitchen to groups large and small. Kristy Harvey
