Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber Announces Small Business Week

Governor Nathan Deal has proclaimed the third week in February 2016 (Feb 15-19) as Georgia Small Business Week. The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce supports our small businesses and encourages shopping small. On Friday, February 12th at 10 A.M. Mayor Gary Thrower will read a proclamation declaring this statewide initiative. Each year, the Chamber champions the best of the best by naming the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Small Business of the Year. We will begin accepting nominations for the 2016 SBOY on Tuesday, February 16th.

Tuesday, February 16
· 10:45 A.M.-Ribbon Cutting for Café Central at Freedom Church-500 Underwood Rd.
· 6:00 P.M-Public Forum at Allen’s Market-hosted by Milledgeville Main Street-input will be used to help guide the future revitalization and development of historic downtown Milledgeville.
Wednesday, February 17
· 7:30 A.M-Eggs & Issues at CGTC-speaker for the event will be Judge Philip B. Spivey.
Thursday, February 18
· 4:30 P.M.-Ribbon Cutting for Glow Salon-1501 N. Columbia St.
Friday, February 19
· 8:00 A.M.-Free Small Business Workshop, “Enhancing Your Brand Online.”-Chamber Boardroom. Breakfast Provided.
