Renowned experts on a variety of horticulture-related topics will speak at the 2016 Waddell Barnes Botanical Gardens Spring Symposium, sponsored by Middle Georgia State University and scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27, on the Macon Campus.
 
The symposium is planned for 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. in room 112 of the Professional Sciences and Conference Center. Speakers will include:
 
Jim Fowler – Author, Wild Orchids of South Carolina
Dr. Allan Armitage – Well-known author, speaker and researcher, UGA professor.
Dr. Mickey Taylor –Associate pesticide safety program coordinator, UGA
Shannon Harris – Owner, Alpine Adventure Trails Tours
William Khoury – Operations Manager, The American Camellia Society
Dan Miller – Owner, Trillium Gardens
