The Middle Georgia Regional Commission is nearing completion of the first draft of the Regional Plan update, 2016-2036: Plan for … A Thriving Middle Georgia. The Regional Commission will hold an open house and public hearing to review the Plan’s contents and receive additional feedback from interested parties.

The open house will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, 175 Emery Highway, Suite C, Macon, GA 31217. The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. where Regional Commission staff will be available to discuss the details of the Plan. An official public comment period will begin at 5 p.m. with a brief presentation and will conclude with comments from citizens and regional stakeholders.
