HOPE Inside Macon-Bibb Begins Offering Financial Workshops

The HOPE Inside Macon-Bibb begins serving the people of Macon-Bibb County this week with four Credit and Money Management workshops to help people raise their credit scores and gain greater financial stability. Almost 50 people have already signed up for the initial workshops and begin their process to a higher credit rating, more savings, less debt, and a better understanding of budgeting.
 
Operation HOPE Market Vice President of the Atlanta Market Tara Dennis will be at the HOPE Inside at the Buck Melton Center (150 Sessions Drive) Friday, February 19, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. to tour the location, discuss the free services being offered, and help plan how staff and partners will reach people that most need them. The media is invited to tour the offices, meet with the staff, and learn more about the free services offered and how they will improve people’s lives.

The HOPE Inside Macon Center will be open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. beginning March 1 and will offer the Credit and Money Management Workshop at least four times per month.
