GADE Holds Conference at MGA

The Georgia Association for Developmental Education is sponsoring its third  annual conference at Middle Georgia State University on February 25 and 26.
 
"Breaking New Ground: Emerging Strategies in Learning Support" is the conference theme. A variety of presentations will highlight innovations made in supporting students through teaching and learning strategies in the classroom, tutorial centers and Freshman Year programs, among other initiatives.
 
Dr. Christopher Blake, Middle Georgia State president, will welcome conference participants at the February 25 banquet on the Macon Campus. Dr. Belle Wheelan, president of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, will deliver the keynote address.
