Fort Valley State University will host its 2016 Teacher Recruitment Expo on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., in the C.W. Pettigrew Center.  The event is open to the public and students. Veteran teachers seeking to relocate or obtain employment are encouraged to participate. Resumes and business attire are required. FVSU juniors, seniors and graduate students majoring in teacher preparation programs are also invited to attend.
   
Over 20 school systems within the state of Georgia and Washington, D.C., will be in attendance at the expo to discuss career opportunities in teaching. The one-day program is being sponsored by the FVSU's Office of Career & Alumni Services in collaboration with the College of Education.
