The Cherry Blossom Festival is now accepting applications for sanctioned events for the 34^th annual Festival taking place March 17-April 3.

A sanctioned event is one that is planned and organized by other organizations that desire to connect their event with the Festival to benefit from the Festival’s popularity and large attendance. Popular sanctioned events have included the Cherry Blossom Music Festival, the Macon-Bibb Fire Department Pink Pancake Breakfast, and the Mulberry Street Arts & Crafts Festival.

Cherry Blossom sanctioned events receive numerous benefits:

• Event listing in the Cherry Blossom Festival Official Schedule of Events distributed throughout the Southeast

• Event listing and description on the Cherry Blossom Festival website: www.CherryBlossom.com

• Recognition in print advertising, including The Telegraph’s Pink Tabloid and Festival-dedicated Out & About section

• Social media promotions that reach thousands of Festival fans

• The option to use the Cherry Blossom Festival name in association with the event, event title, or advertising
