Actors, comic book legends and fans alike, will be flocking to the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry GA, the first weekend in November, for PerryCon 2015, an all-star comic and television 3-day expo, featuring celebrity guests, comic book creators, industry guests, cosplayers, artists, writers, panels, Q&A’s, costume and cosplay contests, vendors, parties, anime, workshops, gaming and more!

Sponsored by Perry GA and hosted by Mario’s Comics, the event will be held on Nov.6^th 7^th and 8^th and will feature an all-star celebrity line-up of acting and comic-book legends including: Catharine Bach, the original Daisy Duke from the hit television show, The Dukes of Hazard, (appearing Saturday & Sunday only); Vernon George Wells, best known for his role in, Mad Max: Road Warrior; and Ricco Ross (Pvt Frost from Aliens). Other favorite “cult” legends set to make appearances are: Sonic The Hedgehog artist, Tracy Yardley; comic artist, Don Hillsman II, best known for his artwork on The Street Fighter, Gambit and Weapon X comics; and Pat Broderick, best known for his Firestorm series, the same character that appears in the current Flash TV Series.

On Friday, November 6^th, from noon to 2:00 pm, Captain Eugene A. Nock, A.T.P. will make a special early appearance with his Bat Fleet offering interviews and pictures of the original screen-used Batcopter N3079g, the actual helicopter flown and used in the 1966 Batman movie, and rides in the 1966 Batmobile. Batgirl’s Batcycle replica will also be on hand. All three vehicles will be on display on the floor as well, at PerryCon.

The event will also include two costume contests - an adult contest on November 7^th and a kid’s costume contest on November 8^th -- both with prizes! Sunday the 8th is also Family Day with kids admission, (12 and under) free with a paid adult.

“It’s a great honor to host the first-ever of its kind Expo in the Atlanta area,” said Mario Russo, owner of Mario’s Comics and host of the event. “Of course it’s always the fans that make COMIC CON fun and extraordinary,” added Russo. “We hope that area comic and pop culture enthusiasts attend in their finest regalia. There are cash prizes including one for best costume.”

Doors are set to open at 4:00 pm on Friday, 10:00 am on Saturday and 11:00 am on Sunday.
