Middle Georgia Regional HobNob Tomorrow

Staff Report From Middle Georgia CEO

Wednesday, September 16th, 2015

Dozens of state political leaders representing Middle Georgia slated to attend the Middle Georgia Regional HobNob on Thursday, September 17, 2015.  Now in its eighth year, the Middle Georgia Regional HobNob  powered by the Robins Regional Chamber is where businesses, citizens and candidates mix and mingle just in time for the 2015 Election. This year's HobNob will be held in the Elevate Building at the corner of Moody Road & Sandy Run (next to Second Baptist Church).

Candidates running for City Council posts in Byron, Centerville, Fort Valley and Warner Robins are slated to participate in the program.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. for attendees to "meet, greet & eat" with currently seated elected officials, candidates, citizens and Chamber members from the Robins Region and surrounding communities. The program begins at 6:00 p.m. Candidates will participate in a forum moderated by Frank Malloy and Lorra Lynch Jones.

Guests will also enjoy traditional all-American fare such as hamburgers and hotdogs provided by the Courtyard by Marriott and have a unique opportunity to take part in “straw vote” via mobile devices throughout the evening.  The results will be revealed at the conclusion of the event.

The cost of the event is $15.00 for members of any Chamber and $25.00 for any non-members.  Registration is available online at www.robinsregion.com.  This is a great event to connect with other business leaders as well as the candidates.
