Hockey is back in Macon! The third event in the Cherry Blossom Festival fall schedule will pit the Macon Mayhem hockey team against the Columbus Cottonmouths on October 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Macon Centreplex, 200 Coliseum Dr.
This will be the first game since hockey’s big return to Macon. Macon Mayhem is the first Southern Professional Hockey League team in Macon since Macon Trax in 2005.
General admission tickets for this exhibition game are $5 per person and can be purchased beginning September 1 at 10 a.m. at the Macon Mayhem box office (200 Coliseum Dr.) or at TicketMaster.com. Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event, from 10 a.m. until after the game starts. Children 2 and under get in free. Season tickets for all Macon Mayhem games also go on sale September 1.
A portion of ticket sales for this event will benefit Cherry Blossom Festival. Before the scrimmage, fans are invited to tailgate and enjoy other activities in the Centreplex parking lot.
