Georgia Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security and Georgia’s Urban Search and Rescue Teams to Hold Multi-Agency Training Exercises at Guardian Centers

Guardian Centers, the most realistic disaster training center in the United States, will host the Georgia Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security and Georgia’s Urban Search and Rescue teams in a multi-team training exercise culminating in a joint exercise held Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2015 with the FDNY All Hazard Incident Management Team.

The Georgia teams will ultimately serve as part of the FDNY All Hazard Incident Management Team in a 48-hour training exercise that will challenge 400 of the most experienced first responders in the nation, orchestrating an effective response to a major earthquake at local, state and federal levels.
