Atlanta-based fast-casual pizza brand Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint continues to expand across its home state, with Georgia native Tyler Mobley opening the first of his planned five franchises in the region in Warner Robins on Friday, Aug. 28. In celebration of Uncle Maddio’s arrival in central Georgia, the new Warner Robins restaurant will be serving free 9-inch, build-your-own, three-topping pizzas to guests in line from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the Grand Opening this Saturday, Aug. 29.
The new Warner Robins Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint restaurant is located at 133 Margie Dr. Suite 400 Warner Robins, Ga 31903.
“Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint provides diners great customized pizza and sandwiches that showcase premium ingredients, and earning smiles with prompt at-table delivery in a comfortable setting—I want to bring that great experience to central Georgia,” said owner Tyler Mobley. He noted that in addition to offering free 9-inch pizzas from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, the Grand Opening celebration in Warner Robins will also feature live music Saturday evening, and on Sunday Aug. 30 there will be kid’s activities and adult diners’ kids will eat free from 4 to 6 p.m.
Following the opening of the Warner Robins restaurant, Mobley plans to open four more Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint locations in central and South Georgia, including two in Macon and two in Valdosta. Each unit will hire about 25 managers and crew.
Uncle Maddio’s is unique among most pizza restaurants, with guests interacting with the pizza maker to customize their very own pizza with premium ingredients and crust preferences, with the assurance their customized pie will be delivered oven hot to their table in less than 8 minutes. Uncle Maddio's offers only fresh premium ingredients and more customization than any other fast-casual pizza restaurants. The restaurants also offers paninis, salads and a selection of craft beers and wine. There are currently 38 Uncle Maddio’s operating in 13 states.
Why Uncle Maddio’s? And why Warner Robins?
New franchisee restaurant owner Tyler Mobley is a twenty-something University of Georgia graduate who grew up immersed in his family’s farming business in Moultrie, GA, where he learned hands-on business skills and the value of hard work. In addition to farming, Mobley’s father was an Ice House of America franchisee, which added an important dimension to Tyler’s real world experience.
“I was first introduced to Uncle Maddio’s when I moved to Atlanta after graduating from UGA. It was a favorite among my group of friends,” explains Mobley. “From my very first experience with Uncle Maddio’s I was impressed by the quality, flavors and value of the food—so I already considered myself one of Uncle Maddio’s biggest fans and most loyal customers. Bringing Uncle Maddio’s to my native central and south Georgia is a dream come true,” said Mobley. He said operating Uncle Maddio’s franchises in communities like Warner Robins is a perfect fit for his business skills, his South Georgia background and his passion for premium fast-casual pizza and craft sandwiches.
