M&R Marketing Group is thrilled to announce that two talented folks have joined our growing team. Emily Farlow is our newest copywriter and Virginia Wilkerson is our new Administrative Assistant/Graphic Designer.

Emily hails from Cumming, Georgia, and is fresh out of college, graduating summa cum laude from Mercer University in May 2015 with degrees in journalism and French. During her time at Mercer, she interned at The Telegraph in Macon and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in Atlanta. Emily served as Editor in Chief of The (Mercer) Cluster from 2013 to 2015, and you may have heard some of her work airing on GPB Macon as part of Mercer’s Center for Collaborative Journalism. 

Virginia is a Macon native, and graduated with honors from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sequential Art. As a freelance Digital Illustrator, her contract work has included designing murals for Mellow Mushroom restaurants, illustrating characters for mobile apps, and dabbling in photo restoration. She is happy to be living in downtown Macon with her cat “Q” and a fabulous view of the Hay House.
