Tickets are now on sale for the Summer’s Night Picnic and Dance, to be held Saturday, August 15, 2015. This annual event – presented by the Charles H. Jones Family Foundation through the Medcen Community Health Foundation, Navicent Health – benefits Pine Pointe Hospice, Navicent Health (PPH).

Attendees should pack their own picnic basket and bring their beverage of choice to the Macon City Auditorium (415 First Street in Macon) for a night of fun and dancing to the sounds of The Grapevine Band. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the band will begin playing at 7:30 p.m.

PPH provides hospice and palliative care to approximately 700 patients  each year, in both the home or in its state-of-the-art 15-bed facility with private rooms, beautiful gardens and family areas. Funds raised through the Summer’s Night Picnic & Dance will provide sitters for caregivers who need assistance, tend to the needs of patients in homes through the family assistance fund, and benefit the Skyler Bear program for children grieving the loss of a loved one.

Tickets are $35 per person or $250 for a table of eight. To purchase tickets, please visit www.navicenthealth.org/snpd or call 478-633-GIVE (4483). If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please contact Susan Watkins at [email protected].
