Veto Stands as Reichert Wins Over Majority of Commission

The Macon-Bibb County Commission failed Tuesday night to override the mayor’s veto in a contentious pension plan dispute.
Mayor Robert Reichert’s April 23 veto prevented the county from reissuing a request for proposals for an investment consultant for the former Bibb County’s pension plan.
