To celebrate the 2015 Women’s Choice Award as one of America’s Best Breast Centers, Coliseum Medical Centers will host “Making the Right Choice for Breast Care: A Lunch & Learn Featuring Dr. Christopher Minette” on Thursday, April 23 from Noon to 1:00 p.m.  The free event will be held at Coliseum Medical Centers in Building C, Suite 120 located at 330 Hospital Drive in Macon.   During this seminar, Dr. Minette will discuss the importance of routine breast cancer screening and the resources available at the Women’s Center at Coliseum Medical Centers. 

Breast cancer is the second most common form of cancer among American women according to the American Cancer Society, and one in eight women in the U.S. will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime.   This lunch and learn will provide women with potentially lifesaving information and will highlight the award winning service that Coliseum Medical Centers provides. 

Coliseum Medical Centers is the only facility in the middle Georgia area to receive this honor.  The award acknowledges the hospital’s dedication to providing exceptional patient care and treatment.
