The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee will host the 4^th Annual Robins Cup Golf Challenge, April 24, 2015 at Houston Lake Country Club. The purpose of the event is to have a day of fun while appreciating and further enhancing the already great relationship between Robins Air Force Base and the local community. 

“The Robins Cup highlights the community’s strong relationship with Robins Air Force Base in a fun and competitive fashion,” said April Bragg, President of the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The event will match 36 senior leaders from Robins Air Force Base with 36 community leaders competing in an 18 hole, two person scramble, match play event.

What is at stake? The "coveted" Robins Cup, which is currently being held by Robins Air force Base.  The Robins Cup and associated bragging rights will be retained by the winning team until surrendered in a subsequent annual Robins Cup challenge.  The 2014 Robins Cup was won by the Robins Air Force Base team.

The schedule of events includes the following: 

April 23^rd: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.: Golf Pairing Sunset Reception with players & spouse/guest, Robins Senior Staff & spouse/guest, Military Affairs & Chamber Board members & spouse/guest

April 24^th: 11:30 a.m.: Players Lunch 

April 24^th: 1 p.m.: Golf: shot gun start 

April 24^th: Immediately following golf: Score Posting Reception/Awards Ceremony players & spouse/guest, Robins Senior Staff & spouse/guest, Military Affairs & Chamber Board members & spouse/guest

The event is presented by the Robins Regional Military Affairs Committee.  The tournament is sponsored byState Bank & Trust Company, Parrish Construction is the reception sponsor, and Lockheed Martin is sponsoring lunch for the golfers.
