The Job Connection^SM of Goodwill industries of Middle Georgia will hold its Spring Job Fair from 1-4 p.m. Thursday, March 12 , at the Anderson Conference Center, 5171 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon. The Job Fair is free to job-seekers and potential employers with current job openings.

This Job Fair will bring together employers and applicants while highlighting the programs available through the Job Connection. More than 30 employers and community resources will be on site to provide information about current job openings in Middle Georgia.

To help job-seekers make the best first impression at the Job Fair, Goodwill’s Job Connection will hold three Job Fair Boot Camp sessions:  from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, March 6, at the Warner Robins Job Connection, 2209 Moody Road; and from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 -4 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Helms Career  Center, 240 Broadway, Macon. The classes will be taught by human resources professionals from businesses represented at the Job Fair, and participants will receive early entry to the Job Fair.

Employers and community resource partners participating in the Job Fair include Advance Auto Parts, Blue Bird Body Co., Capital City Bank, City of Warner Robins, Fern Valley, GEICO, Georgia Department of Labor, Helms College, Helms Career Institute, Health Care Plus, Hospice Advantage, Houston Healthcare, Kumho Tire, Macon Marriott, Margaritas Mexican Grill, MGC Roofing, Mondi, Orkin Pest Control, Parker Control Systems Division, Prince Precision Products, River Edge Behavioral Health Center, Ryder (Hillshire Brands), Tractor Supply Distribution, Waffle House, Woodmen of the World, YKK AP and Goodwill Industries.  

In 2014, Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA proudly provided career services to nearly 25,000 individuals and helped find employment for more than 4,600.
