The Coliseum Pulmonary Center at Coliseum Medical Centers stood alongside Governor Nathan Deal at the State Capital Building on March 24, 2015, to recognize the importance of pulmonary health and rehabilitation. Recently, the Coliseum Pulmonary Center worked in conjunction with the Georgia Society for Respiratory Care to ask Governor Deal to officially declare the week of March 8-14 as Pulmonary Rehab Week in Georgia. Governor Deal officially made the declaration back in February but invited members of the GSRC as well as staff of Coliseum Pulmonary Center to stand with him as he publicly celebrated the success of Pulmonary Rehab Week. After photos were taken, Governor Deal thanked each of the therapists and GSRC members for the dedication they have to their patients and their healing process.
