Holiday shoppers this week will be hunting for deals during seasonal Black Friday promotions, but educational opportunities at Helms Career Institute are now a greater bargain than ever before thanks to a significant cut in tuition rates for all HCI programs.
Already more affordable than other private post-secondary institutions, Helms Career Institute has decreased tuition by an average of 20 percent starting with classes enrolling for the Jan. 12, 2015 start.
This reduction is made possible through Helms Career Institute’s operation in part as an education mission of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA, the parent organization of Helms Career Institute and Helms College. Lower tuition rates apply to all Helms Career Institute programs in Macon and Milledgeville, including programs leading to career certification as a surgical technician, medical assistant, medical administrative assistant, pharmacy technician, patient care technician or massage therapist.
“A primary goal of Helms Career institute, like all programs under Goodwill’s educational umbrella, is to provide middle-skills education that leads to maximum career opportunities with minimum student loan debt,” said James K. Stiff, President of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA. “In addition to intensive wraparound advising from caring instructors and ample opportunities for hands-on learning, that mission is what sets Helms Career Institute apart from other post-secondary institutions.”
The programs of Helms Career Institute formerly operated under American Professional Institute until its purchase by Goodwill in 2013, and now serves students on campuses in Macon at 3076 Riverside Drive, Suite 700, and in Milledgeville at 2400 North Columbia Street behind the Milledgeville Mall.
All of the programs are nationally accredited and eligible for Title IV funding and VA education benefits, with financial aid available for those who qualify. Enrollment is currently underway, and admissions staff can be reached at (478) 785-6866, or www.helmscareerinstitute.com.
