Alexander II Magnet Elementary School offers a lottery process for admission.  There are several upcoming events for families who want to learn more about Alex II or who want to enroll in the lottery for the 2015-2016 academic year. 

Open House

Monday, October 27^th from 6-7pm

Prospective families are welcome to visit the school.  Children will be able to try their hands at the fun and exciting ways in which science, math, and engineering are taught at this historic school in the heart of Macon and the College Hill Corridor.  This event is open to any family that is considering Alex II. 

School Tours

Wednesday, October 15^th from 9:00-10:30am

Wednesday, October 22^nd from 9:00-10:30am

Parents and students may tour Alex II during the school day. 

Lottery for Admission

Applications are being accepted for the 2015-16 school year at Alexander II Math and Science Magnet Schools beginning on Wednesday, October 15^th and going through November 14^th. Parents with children in entering Kindergarten through 5^th grade next year are encouraged to apply.  Applications can be picked up from the school or are available on-line at on our school website.
