The State Bar of Georgia recently awarded the Houston County Bar Association the award of Best Website for 2014. The website was designed and developed by Macon-based M&R Marketing Group. The yearly award recognizes websites that “exemplify excellence in usefulness, ease of use, content, and design.

The new website, http://www.houstoncountybar.org/, offers a full member directory that is searchable by city, name, and practice area, a calendar and blog to promote the Bar’s involvement in the Middle Georgia community, and mobile design.

The goal of the new website is to serve the general public who may be seeking an attorney and to better serve bar members who want to offer a referral or need to locate assistance for cases outside of their general expertise.
