Five business leaders from throughout the region have been approved to the Board of Directors of the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce.  The announcement was made by Sonya Jenkins, 2014-15 Chairwoman of the board of directors, who also serves on the Nominating Committee.

Joining the Chamber’s Board of Directors, beginning in January are: Andrea Griner (Central Georgia Technical College); Fritz Marggraff (Progressive Consulting Technologies, Inc.); Dr. Joe Richardson (Mercer Engineering Research Center); Steve Smith (Middle Georgia Orthopaedic); and Ron Weigle (SunTrust Bank of Middle Georgia).  The board also welcomes Jan Douglass (CB&T Bank of Middle GA) to the board.  Douglass will serve the remainder of an unexpired former board member’s term., ending in December 31, 2015.

The Robins Regional Chamber's elections are open to the full membership.  Any member of good standing may be nominated and all members in good standing are eligible to vote.  The newly elected and appointed Directors will serve for the 3-year term of January 1, 2015 throughDecember 31, 2017.
