Reichert Proposes $158.7 Million General Fund Budget for Macon-Bibb

Residents in the former Macon city limits can expect a property tax cut along with a fire-protection fee increase, while residents of the former unincorporated Bibb County can expect to see a hike in utility franchise fees, according to the first Macon-Bibb County consolidated budget proposal.
