Volunteers Keeping Macon Beautiful Awarded for Community Service

Carolyn Crayton was among those honored during the 40th annual Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Volunteer Appreciation and Awards Luncheon.
The luncheon featured Macon-Bibb County Mayor Robert Reichert proclaiming March 19, Carolyn Crayton Day. Crayton founded the organization and the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.
The award ceremony was held Wednesday, at Vineville Methodist Church Christian Life Center, located at 2045 Vineville Ave., in Macon.
