Mil-Spec Packaging of Georgia (Mil-Spec) leaders in Contract and Military Spec Packaging, Export Packaging and Containerization, is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a GSA Schedule 81 IB Contract and are now certified to provide Shipping, Packaging and Packing Supplies and Services to the Federal Government. Acknowledging the growth in federal spending through the GSA, Mil-Spec Packaging has placed some of their Corrugated Shipping Cartons on the government's electronic ordering system, GSA Advantage!, with additional items to follow.

"This schedule opens up significantly more markets throughout the country and affords us an opportunity to provide government agencies with the latest corrugated shipping containers, crates, fast packs, and other government special packaging instruction items (SPI)," states Jon Watson, President at Mil-Spec Packaging of Georgia. He continues, "Our schedule will expand our reach beyond the Federal government to numerous state and municipal governmental agencies as we can now offer them a variety of Industrial packaging solutions at fixed government pricing."

Mil-Spec Packaging maintains a large inventory of stock sheet grades ranging from 200 lb. single wall, thru 1100 lb. triple wall, and all government grades, to manufacture their containers in-house. Most sheet plants depend on third party suppliers who may not have this material available. They meet or exceed many of the military/weatherized grade materials requirements including W5C, V3C, V11C V13C, and Triple Wall. Mil-Spec Packaging also produce die cut folded cartons, telescoping style boxes and various types of partitions. In addition to their standard product line, Mil-Spec Packaging offers custom printed corrugated boxes, featuring a client's logo, package content information, or any other graphic, small or large, up to 60 in. (1524 mm) in diameter. They work with their clients and can provide color-matching service or print materials using one or two colors on their press. Mil-Spec also offers other packaging items including packaging foam, barrier material for wraps and bags, and padded, bubble-style wrap.
