Rhythm & Rally Launches the “Rally for Good” Series, a New Civic Pickleball Tradition Supporting Middle Georgia Nonprofits

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Monday, December 8th, 2025

Rhythm & Rally Sports & Events announced the launch of the Rally for Good Series, a new civic pickleball league dedicated to supporting nonprofits across Middle Georgia. The series builds on a growing number of charitable pickleball events already hosted at Rhythm & Rally and establishes a year-long regional tradition that blends competition, community engagement, and philanthropy.

“Rhythm & Rally has quickly become one of Middle Georgia’s most active civic spaces,” said John Roberts, General Manager of Rhythm & Rally. “The Rally for Good Series channels that energy outward; strengthening local organizations and giving players a new way to compete, connect, and contribute to the region.”

An Abbreviated Inaugural Season

Although the full Rally for Good season will launch in October 2026, Rhythm & Rally will begin an abbreviated inaugural season in January to build momentum and recognize partners who have already been part of the facility’s community-focused mission.

This inaugural season includes:

  • Ocmulgee National Park & Preserve Initiative (ONPPI) — January 24–25, 2026

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia — March 7–8, 2026
  • Macon Mental Health Matters — May 9–10, 2026
  • Otis Redding Foundation — June 13–14, 2026
  • Middle Georgia Association of REALTORS — August 22–23, 2026
  • Macon Pride — September 19–20, 2026

At the conclusion of this abbreviated run, Rhythm & Rally will host the first Rally for Good Awards Banquet on October 9, 2026, the night before the next Habitat for Humanity 2026 Homecourt Tournament, formally launching the second season schedule. The second season will continue in November with an event benefitting the Macon Christmas Lights Extravaganza which will be entering its 10th year in 2026.

How the Series Works

Each Rally for Good event pairs Rhythm & Rally with a local or regional nonprofit. The facility manages event coordination and competitive operations. Ten percent of every player entry directly supports the partner’s mission, and participating organizations retain 100 percent of sponsorships they bring in.

Players earn points across the season through:

  • match performance

  • participation
  • donating
  • and championing each partner’s work

Two Cups will be awarded at the end of each full season:

  • The Champions Cup

  • The Community Cup

First Event of 2026: Supporting ONPPI

The first event in the series, held January 24–25, 2026, will benefit the Ocmulgee National Park & Preserve Initiative (ONPPI), the coalition working to establish Georgia’s first national park and protect the cultural and ecological heritage of the Ocmulgee River Corridor.

“The work ONPPI is doing will shape Middle Georgia for generations,” Roberts said. “We’re proud to help support such an important regional effort.”
