Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce Presents: Macon & Eggs Military Roundtable
Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025
The Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce is proud to present this year’s Macon & Eggs Military Roundtable, a quarterly program designed to connect our business community with military and civic leaders for ongoing community engagement. This year’s theme, “DIME in Action: Understanding National Security through a Local Lens,” highlights how Diplomacy, Information, Military and Economic power intersect in Central Georgia to affect national security.
“Central Georgia is home to Robins Air Force Base and the Georgia National Guard’s mighty 48th Brigade, two critical pillars in our nation's defense,” said Jessica Walden, President and CEO of the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce. “These military installations and the surrounding business ecosystem play an essential role in supporting our national defense's strength, resilience, and readiness. Our Macon and Eggs program allows our business community to experience that connection in action.”
Macon and Eggs: Military Roundtable will take place on Thursday, June 5, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at Central Georgia Technical College’s Aerospace Training and Sustainment Center (also known as Robins North), for a dynamic program featuring speaker talks from leading military experts. You’ll learn how Central Georgia plays a vital role in the broader national security landscape through real-world examples and local insights.
“The intersection of national defense and local economic vitality has never been more important,” said Chrissy Miner, Vice Chair of Government and Military Affairs. “We’re proud to help spotlight the strategic role Central Georgia plays in our nation's security. From global diplomacy to cutting-edge cyber defense, the work happening here is shaping outcomes far beyond our region. Macon & Eggs is more than a breakfast; it’s a bridge between the military mission and the community that supports it.”
