The Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority (MBCIA) hosted their bi-annual Industry Partners Luncheon at W.S. Hutchings College and Career Academy. Designed to strengthen collaboration and share key community updates, the event brought together local industry leaders, stakeholders, and community partners for a panel discussion and valuable networking opportunities.

“Our local industries are the backbone of Macon-Bibb’s economy and it’s vital we stay connected, aligned, and transparent,” said Mayor Lester Miller. “Opportunities like this luncheon give us a chance to share progress, listen to concerns, and work together to build a stronger future for our entire community.”

Local leaders including Mayor Lester Miller, Bibb County Sheriff David Davis, and Bibb County School District Superintendent Dr. Dan Sims provided a community update in a panel format moderated by the MBCIA Executive Director Stephen Adams.

The MBCIA hosted its spring Industry Partner Lunch at the W.S. Hutchings College and Career Academy on April 29. The event brought together local industry leaders, stakeholders, and community partners for a panel discussion and valuable networking opportunities.

Macon-Bibb Mayor Lester Miller, Bibb County School District Superintendent Dr. Dan Sims, and Bibb County Sheriff David Davis gave community updates on a panel moderated by MBCIA Executive Director Stephen Adams.
“Providing our industries with timely updates like these is essential to keeping them informed about what’s happening in the community,” said Adams. “It’s equally important that they know we’re here as a resource to support their success and to answer any questions they may have.”

Following the panel, attendees were invited to connect and network with speakers, fostering continued collaboration beyond the luncheon program.
