Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority Welcomes Complete Resources Management to Allied Industrial Park
Tuesday, December 19th, 2023
The Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority (MBCIA) is pleased to announce Complete Resource Management (CRM), a leading waste management and recycling company, as the newest industry of the Allied Industrial Park. The expansion is CRM’s third facility in Georgia and extends its reach to further service commercial clients from Middle Georgia to the Metro Atlanta area. CRM has shown rapid growth, and its commitment to turning waste into valuable resources aligns with its ongoing commitment to providing innovative waste and recycling solutions to industries of all sizes.
“An addition like CRM to the Macon-Bibb area is a valuable resource expanding MBCIA’s portfolio of industries we support. We recognize the growing need for reliable resource allocation and waste management in today's corporate landscape,” shares Stephen Adams, MBCIA Executive Director. “MBCIA has confidence in CRM to excel in supporting businesses to achieve their comprehensive resource management needs.”
Positioned to capture the growth of the markets in the area and those that are moving south away from the Metro area, the new Macon-Bibb County operations will serve Alabama, North Florida, Middle Georgia, and South Atlanta. The company will invest an estimated $2.5 Million in the new site including land and building development and on-site equipment. Strategically chosen for its central location and easy access to major highways, this expansion creates 25 prospective new jobs in Macon-Bibb County.
“Macon-Bibb County is the ideal Hub, in the center of the state, with access to both I-16 to Savannah and the I-75 corridor,” says Whitcomb Barnhill, President of CRM. “The County’s leadership has done a tremendous job attracting industry and manufacturing to the area.”
Founded in Albany, Georgia in 2018, CRM serviced the areas of Columbus, Georgia, East Alabama, and east to the Savannah and Dublin areas. In 2019, a second branch opened in Valdosta, Georgia, focusing on wood waste and organics acting as a bagging facility, turning wood waste into colored mulch and organics into potted soils.
“The high density of industries is what attracted us,” says Barnhill. “We saw that there was a void that we could fill and service the needs of those industries. There is no other company like CRM in the area with a turn-key model of consolidating all industrial and commercial waste and recycling needs as a one-stop shop.”
The company caters to industrial manufacturing industries, providing waste and recycling solutions for extensive types of materials. Notable clients include P&G, Mars M&M, Coors Brewing Company, and Georgia-Pacific.
MBCIA is excited to welcome CRM to Macon-Bibb County, looking forward to their contributions to our community. For more information about CRM's services at the new Macon-Bibb County branch, please contact [email protected].
