Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority Hosts Annual Appreciation Lunch for Regional Project Managers
Thursday, December 14th, 2023
The Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority (MBCIA) hosted a Holiday Appreciation Lunch at the Georgia Experience Center in Atlanta bringing in economic development project managers from across the state. This annual event provides MBCIA with the opportunity to gather with regional project managers to express their appreciation and share the latest developments in their WHY MACON presentation.
Exhibiting several key attractions in Macon, the presentation provided a robust look at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park, the new Macon Amphitheatre, set to open in Spring 2024, and details about MBCIA’s properties available to prospective industries.
“Opportunities to come together and show our immense appreciation for the economic development leadership across Georgia give me great satisfaction, shares Stephen Adams, Executive Director of MBCIA. “Highlighting the beauty and progress of Macon never gets old for me. The Macon advantage is a real thing for industries and residents alike, and Macon-Bibb County does not slow down in revitalizing and investing in our community to continue to offer world-class business opportunities.”
The annual project manager lunch proved to be a festive time for attendees. This year, MBCIA gifted their attendees with a functional step stool tagged with their logo and a great tagline, Excellence in Every Step.
“That is who we are in Macon-Bibb County,” shares Adams, “We come to the table each day asking how to do it better and continue to foster success for our community stakeholders".
MBCIA considered the lunch a resounding success, recognizing it as a unique opportunity to network and share insights on Georgia's thriving business landscape with economic development professionals who work hard to make Georgia the number one state to do business year after year.
