Patty Gibbs Named President & CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia is pleased to announce Patty Gibbs has been named President and CEO of the nonprofit that provides care and support for families of seriously ill, critically injured or medically fragile children being treated at area medical facilities.

“We are thrilled to have Patty lead our organization as we continue to increase our services for families undergoing medical hardships,” said Jennifer Adrien, chair of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia Board of Directors. “She brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership and fundraising, a passion for our mission, and strong community relations. She will be an incredible asset for RMHCCGA.”

Gibbs served as the former Development Director at the organization from 2018 through 2019 and most recently as the Executive Director at the Family Counseling Center of Central Georgia, Inc.  She also served as Vice President at Wesleyan College from 2003 to 2017.  Gibbs is the Chair of the Board of Directors for Visit Macon, is the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Cherry Blossom Festival, is a member of Career Women’s Network (CWN), serves on the Fast Track review committee for District Attorney Anita Howard’s RISE Initiative, and serves as co-chair for Macon Aim, a collaborative initiative of the Peyton Anderson Foundation.

“I am excited to return home to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia and build upon the important work the organization has done over the last two decades. I looking forward to meeting our families, donors and volunteers and connecting deeper with the communities that we serve in central and south Georgia,” Gibbs said.

The Ronald McDonald House opened to families in November 2002, and a major expansion doubling the capacity was completed in Spring of 2020.
