Macon & Eggs to feature Military Roundtable Discussion with Leadership from Robins Air Force Base

The Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce will host a roundtable of local military leadership at its morning business advocacy program Macon & Eggs. The breakfast program will take place this Thursday, 8:30 a.m., at Central Georgia Technical College's Aerospace Training and Sustainment Center.

The military roundtable will feature discussion with Robins Air Force Base (RAFB) leadership about how the Macon-Bibb business community can best support their mission to secure the United States’ air defense from the largest single-site industrial complex in Georgia. 

Among the leadership on the panel will be Col. Deedrick L. Reese, the new Installation and 78th Air Base Wing Commander. This will be one of Col. Reese’s first opportunities to participate in a local panel discussion since arriving at RAFB.

“Robins Air Force Base is among the most impactful institutions to the economy of Georgia,” said Jessica Walden, President and CEO of the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce. “With an economic impact of over $3.5 billion and a workforce of 22,600, RAFB stands as a regional cornerstone, influencing countless lives in and around Macon. This is a prime opportunity to learn more about how to engage with and support this essential component of both our local economy and our nation’s national security.”

Panelists include:

 

  • Brigadier General John Kubinec, Retired, Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex Commander; Current President and CEO of the 21st Century Partnership will moderate the discussion

  • Brigadier General Jon A. Eberlan, Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex Commander

  • Colonel Deedrick L. Reese, Installation and 78th Air Base Wing Commander

  • Colonel Christopher Dunlap, 116th Air Control Wing Commander

 

The host and sponsor for this program is Central Georgia Technical College, with additional support from Prince Manufacturing. Macon & Eggs will take place at CGTC’s Aerospace Training and Sustainment Center, also known as “Robins North,” located at 1821 Avondale Mill Rd. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., and the program begins at 9:00 a.m.

Individual registration is $30 for Chamber Investors and $60 for future Investors. Table registration is $300 for Chamber Investors and $600 for future Investors.
