The University of Georgia's Small Business Development Center in Macon will host the GrowSmart, program in Macon Sept. 11th – Oct.9th.
In its fifteenth year, SBDC GrowSmart, the signature series of the University of Georgia SBDC, consists of five modules delivered over five weeks. Each module will focus on a particular business discipline, such as strategic planning, marketing, finance, and management.
This workshop is designed for business owners of companies that are established for at least two years, have at least one non-owner employee, generate annual revenues of $300,000 or more and are in a position to grow.
If your business is growing or ready for growth, SBDC GrowSmart gives you the steps, tools, and strategies to get there. In five full-day, weekly sessions, learn to analyze and manage your business like a seasoned CEO. GrowSmart was developed by the Georgia SBDC Network to meet the needs of growing businesses. This program is sponsored by Georgia Power and Bank of Ozk. You will evaluate your business, competition, and target markets in a hands-on, innovative program format that promotes the sharing of best practices. You will also get advice from expert speakers and panels.
The workshop will be held from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Wednesdays, Sept. 11, 18, 25, Oct. 2, & 9th, 2019. Cost is $895 per person and includes the textbook, materials, as well as breakfast and lunch.
