Perry Area Chamber of Commerce Names Ellen Palmer as President/CEO

The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce has named Ellen Palmer as President/CEO of the organization.
 
Palmer is an extremely motivated and proficient professional with years of experience in sales, administration, advertising, communications and business development. Palmer is plugged in to the Perry community and is looking forward to growing business and growing community in her role with the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce.
 
In regards to her new role, Palmer said “I am thrilled to serve as the new President/CEO of the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to serving our community in this new role and to continue to grow our community and businesses. The Chamber is a vital part of Perry and I am honored to lead this organization to continue to support our members. I am proud to call Perry my home and be a part of its story of success!”
 
Most recently, those in the Perry community have had the opportunity to witness Palmer’s great work in communications with the City of Perry over the last three years. Palmer has launched widely successful initiatives, including the “Your Perry” mobile app and the Your City Program. Palmer has shown herself to be an excellent problem solver who can quickly leverage her skills and experience to help organizations excel. Palmer has a BS in Marketing from Clemson University and is a graduate of Perry Leadership Institute and Middle Regional Commission Leadership Champions.
 
“We’re excited to have Ms. Palmer leading the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce and we are confident that she will do an outstanding job leading our organization in the years to come,” said Dan Perdue, Past Chairman of the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce.
 
The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce will be working with the City of Perry to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
