The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia and the Macon Bacon Baseball Club are joining forces to bring a one-of-a-kind event to Macon, Dinner on the Diamond. The event was originally scheduled to be held on Wednesday, May 30th; however, the date is being adjusted to June 13th.

Rescheduling the event for June 13th will provide additional time for the Macon Bacon Baseball Club to ensure the stadium is in pristine condition for the opening day. “We did not want this event to interrupt any activities on the completion of the stadium,” said Mr. Philip Bryant, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia.

Mr. Todd Pund, Macon Bacon President agreed with Mr. Bryant, “we are fortunate that we are able to be flexible with the event date. Our focus is on putting the finishing touches on the stadium and are excited about our opening day on June 1st.”

Dinner on the Diamond will be an opportunity to meet the players of the Macon Bacon baseball team, enjoy a delicious meal that will be served on the infield of Luther Williams Ball Park and dance the night away with The Grapevine Band.
