Georgia Production Partnership to Host Mid-Georgia Regional Meeting in Macon

As Georgia’s booming film industry continues to break records; the Georgia Production Partnership, along with presenting sponsor, the Georgia Film Office, a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, will host the first of four regional meetings to showcase the opportunity the film industry brings to all of Georgia. This first meeting of 2018, will be for the mid-Georgia region, and will take place at Macon’s historic, Douglass Theatre, on Tuesday, March 27th from 10:00–11:30am, located at 355 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Macon, GA 31201.
The meeting is open to members of the public including business owners, economic development representatives, students, and others to learn more about how Georgia communities (outside of Atlanta) are attracting film productions to their cities. Georgia business owners can learn how to utilize the film incentives in their own tax planning.Students are also are invited to gain a better understanding of the opportunities their studies in established Middle Georgia film educational programs will give them in allowing them to live and work right here in Georgia.
