The Macon Bacon have released their inaugural season schedule featuring fireworks shows, special theme nights and more. The team will play a total of 52 games across the months of June through August. The Bacon will have 26 home games filled with fun theme nights and entertainment that the whole family will enjoy.
 
“Our goal is to have something special for every Friday and Saturday night throughout the season,” said team president Todd Pund.
 
The Bacon will open on the road on Thursday, May 31 against in-state rival the Savannah Bananas.  The first home game for the Bacon will be the following night, June 1 and feature fireworks and fans’ first look at the renovated historic Luther Williams Field.  The very next night on Saturday, June 2, the Bacon host their arch-rival Savannah Bananas at Luther Williams Field to give Macon Bacon fans their first taste of what is sure to be a season-long battle.
 
The games for the Bacon’s hugely popular All-You-Can-Eat 5-game plan have also been selected featuring all weekend or holiday games and two spectacular fireworks shows.

With the 5-game plan, fans receive unlimited hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, water, soda and soft drinks. The cost of this package is $15 per game ($75 total).
 
Full season tickets, 10-game plans and group tickets are also on sale now.  Single game tickets for the 2018 season will go on sale in May, 2018.
 
“We’ve already sold hundreds of ticket packages to fans excited that baseball is back in Macon,” said Pund.  “With the release of the specific games in our 5, 10 and full season packages, we expect to get a flood of calls and orders through our website.”
 
The rest of the home promotional schedule includes: Happy Hour Special games (June 7th, June 28th, and August 2nd), Bark in the Park (July 6th), and Allman Brothers Appreciation Night (July 13th).
