Navicent Health’s Cancer Program Among Top 15% in U.S.

The Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons has granted its 2014 Outstanding Achievement Award to a select group of 75 accredited cancer programs throughout the United States. Medical Center, Navicent Health is one of the 75 national cancer programs awarded, and is one of only 25 cancer programs to achieve this award for the second consecutive survey period.

Kumho Tire Co. Inc. to Begin Construction on Manufacturing Facility in Macon

Kumho Tire Co., Inc. announced Tuesday from Korea that the Korean-based company will restart the construction of a state of the art automotive tire plant in Macon-Bibb County, Georgia. This will be Kumho Tire's first plant in the US. The plant is expected to be in production by early 2016. It represents a $413M investment in the community.
