Treutlen County Secures $300,000 Grant for Essential Road to Boost New Industrial Park

The Georgia Department of Transportation has awarded Treutlen County a $300,000 grant to help fund construction of a new road off State Route 56 that will lead into the planned Georgia 16 Industrial Park.
“We’ve been bypassed for growth opportunities for whatever reason, and now I feel like we are in the game,” Soperton Mayor John Koon said.
