Macon internal medicine physician Dr. Russell O'Neal announced today that his practice, Russell G. O’Neal M.D., LLC, will be relocating to a new office on Bass Road. O’Neal has served patients at his current location near Piedmont Health Center for nearly 20 years. The practice's new facility is located at 1760 Bass Road, Suite 200, near the intersection of Bass Road and Riverside Drive. The practice will start seeing patients at the new location on April 8.

"We're excited to be making this change," said O'Neal. "Our new location will offer our patients an improved experience and will move our services closer to our rapidly expanding base of patients in the North Bibb and South Monroe area.”

A native of Roberta, O'Neal graduated from Stratford Academy before pursuing his medical education at the University of Georgia and the Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Emory University in Atlanta. As an internist, he provides primary care, acute care, and health management services for adults aged 18 and up.

"It's important for every adult to have a primary care physician. We're not just there for you when something's wrong; we provide preventive care, lifestyle guidance, and important screenings to help identify healthcare concerns before they become problems," said O'Neal. "Whether you're the picture of health or are managing something like hypertension or diabetes, we're here to help."

O'Neal is currently accepting new patients. His practice accepts most major forms of health insurance and offers a reduced-cost direct-payment fee schedule for patients who are uninsured or underinsured. Services provided include regular physicals and wellness checks, management of chronic conditions, vaccines, screenings, acute care for most minor illnesses or injuries, medication management, and all other primary care needs.

“I’d like to invite anyone in Middle Georgia who’s in need of a primary care physician to give us a call and come see us in our new office,” said O’Neal. “Let us help you maintain your health now and in the future.”
