2023 Drug Free Workplace Seminar
Thursday, March 30th
10:00am - 12:00pm

As the leader in Occupational Medicine, we believe education and training are essential to a healthy environment and workplace. That's why we continue to offer our annual Drug Free Workplace seminar.

With the many opinions on medical marijuana from a legalization, recreational, and medical use, we felt "Medical Marijuana in Georgia" would be a great topic for our annual seminar.

This seminar is going to be extra special because our very own Dr. Michael Duchynski, Chief Medical Officer for Piedmont Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine, will be one of our guest speakers. Dr. Duchynski will give you a better understanding of the laws around medical marijuana and it's impact on employers. We are also thankful to have Lt. Brad Surfus, with the Bibb County Sheriff, share with us the dangers of prescription pills transitioning to heroin, what you need to know about fentanyl, and how the drug world is affecting us. This presentation will help us all be better prepared for this challenge and also help us make an educated decision about your drug free workplace program.

And as an added bonus, We're In-Person! Yes, we're back in the Central Georgia Technical College "H" Building Auditorium. We're looking forward to seeing everyone on March 30th. The seminar will begin at 10:00am and will end by 12:00pm. The link to register is below.
