Springdale Elementary Celebrating '50 Years of Lighting the Way'

On Friday, December 17, from 9-11 a.m., Springdale Elementary School will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a Leadership Day. The school is located at 4965 Northside Drive, and members of the media are invited to attend.
The event’s theme is “50 Years of Lighting the Way.” Invited community partners and stakeholders will take part in the Leader in Me morning meeting, hear from students about their service learning at the school and enjoy a special music program. Springdale is one of four Leader in Me Lighthouse Schools in the Bibb County School District.
