Subaru Announces Depaul USA’s Macon Daybreak as the Local Share the Love Campaign Partner

Friday, November 19th, 2021

Subaru of Macon announced today its Share the Love local partner, Depaul USA’s Macon project Daybreak.

The “hometown charity” program, created in 2013, allows each retailer to select a local charity within their community to be added to the list of organizations that customers can select to receive a donation.

Subaru of Macon has selected Depaul USA’s Daybreak as the Share the Love hometown charity because of its supportive work with people who are homeless. During the Share the Love Event, which runs from November 18, 2021, through January 3, 2021, Subaru will donate $250 for each new Subaru vehicle bought or leased.  Each customer can choose Daybreak or any of the following charities; ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels America or The National Park Foundation.

Daybreak is a day resource center in Macon for people who are homeless or impoverished.  Annually, more than 1,600 individuals are served and supported.  Approximately 50 people secure housing each year and more than 130 individuals receive medical treatment through Daybreak’s free health clinic.

“I am deeply honored that Subaru has selected Depaul USA’s Daybreak program as its local beneficiary for the Share the Love Campaign.  Subaru is deeply invested in the Macon community and we look forward to partnering with the great team at the Macon dealership to raise funds for the Daybreak day resource center.”

  • Charles W. Levesque, President/Executive Director, Depaul USA

By purchasing or leasing a new Subaru during the event and selecting Depaul USA’s project Daybreak as your charity of choice, you can help provide individuals with tools and resources necessary to exit homelessness and live lives of greater dignity and independence.
